Join Curvy Yoga Certified Teacher, Laura Reed, as she guides you through a calming restorative yoga practice that will include hands-on Reiki healing delivered by Usui Reiki Master, Olwen Wilson.  

Restorative Yoga helps you to rest deeply, relax completely, and rejuvenate physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an energy technique that gently encourages your body, mind, and spirit back into balance. In Japanese, Rei means spirit or divine, and Ki means breath, force, or energy. In short, Reiki is often described as universal life-force energy that is guided through a practitioner to another person and it can be very relaxing.

You'll spend the majority of the class lying on your yoga mat on the floor. You will be comfortably supported by various blankets, bolsters and other props that you'll be shown how to use. There isn't a lot of up and down in this class ... meaning once you're down on the floor, you generally only get up at the end. Your comfort is a big priority. 

No previous yoga experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome. Every participant will leave with a NEW gift at the end of the workshop. 

Please note that this workshop is for women, and anyone who identifies as a woman, only.

420 Weber St. N. is a white building across the street from St. David Catholic Secondary School. Closest major intersection is King St. N. and Weber St. N.

Please note that the 2nd floor can only be accessed by climbing approx. 10 steps. 

There is plenty of free parking.
