Enjoy 6 weekly classes of restorative yoga to help you relax your muscles, quiet your nervous system, and your mind.
Restorative yoga helps you learn to rest deeply so that you can rejuvenate physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Thursdays, March 23 - April 27, 2017.
7 - 8:15 pm
In this 6 week series you'll get to practice relaxing again, and again in a Reiki infused room that'll include healing sounds and energy. You'll leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after each session.
A couple of the classes will also include a yoga nidra practice. Yoga nidra can be briefly described as a deep relaxation technique that involves guided meditation while you are lying down, comfortably supported with yoga mats, bolsters and blankets.
The majority of each class will require you to be lying or sitting on the floor. There isn't a lot of up and down in this class ... meaning once we are down on the floor, we generally only get up at the end and your comfort is a big priority.
No previous yoga experience is necessary. Beginners with an open mind, a kind heart and an interest in circling with a great group of women are always welcome.
All shapes, all sizes and all abilities can practice restorative yoga.
Classes are small so that you’ll receive the attention that you deserve!
Please note that these classes are for women, and anyone who identifies as a woman, only.
